How to Report a Bug or Issue Effectively

Guidelines for submitting clear and helpful bug reports to the FNLB team so they can resolve issues quickly.

Before You Report

  1. Check for existing issues: Look in the #🛟・help-and-questions or #🧪・suggestions-and-bugs channel on Discord to see if your issue is already known.
  2. Restart and retry: Often, restarting Fortnite and the FNLB App can resolve temporary glitches.
  3. Gather information: Note what you were doing, any error messages, and the time the issue occurred.

Essential Information for Your Report

A good report should include:

  • Your Platform: (e.g., PC, PlayStation, Xbox).
  • Bot Name: The specific bot you were using.
  • Clear Steps: The exact actions that led to the bug.
  • Expected vs. Actual Result: What you thought would happen vs. what actually happened.
  • Screenshots/Videos: If possible, these are extremely helpful.

Submitting Your Report

The best place to submit a bug report is in the dedicated #🧪・suggestions-and-bugs channel on the FNLB Discord. Post your gathered information clearly and concisely. Avoid sending duplicate reports, as this slows down the triage process for the development team.
